My daughters pony has dandruff just n his mane though?

My sisters horse gets dandruff really bad in his mane too and she just uses head and shoulders dandruff shampoo on him. Seems to work really well.

wash his mane once a week with mane n tail shampoo, and then make sure to put a lot of conditioner in his mane when your done washing it (not too much though) you need to keep it clean and moisturized. once the dandruff decreases, just wash it once every two weeks. soon it will be gone and it'll be shiny and pretty and healthy! =]

Take Listerine ("original" flavor), pour it on, rub it in, let it sit for a few minutes then rinse it out.

my horse gets dandruff when i shampoo his mane, and dont condition it. try conditioning it.

I used Herbal Essences Degunkify on my horses mane (I bought him from a place that took bad care of him over the winter...) and it worked awesome...i soaked his mane down good, poured a hand ful into well...my hand & scrubbed really good...I repeated 3 times, then rinsed out & put a light conditioner on his mane so it wouldnt get all dry and gross...I use it every now & then when he gets a build-up in his mane...Good Luck...Ponies are pretty much Prone to dandruff...
