My degus keep doing sounds?

Question

My degus have been doing squeeking for 2 days straight,even if i took them,and putted back in cage,they started squeaking again,they have food and water,i have a 3 year old male and a 2 year old female,can some one solve the problem?Oh and they are always in the wheel.But they have been for long time so i dont know if thats the problem,please help,i cant sleep at night
