My dell inspiron e1505 wont turn on!?

Question

My friend forgot to shut it off so it was on for the whole entire night. I let it sit and cool off for the whole entire day. Now, when I go to turn it on, all the lights blink green like its about to turn on, but it just stays a blank black screen and nothing happens. I got a new cord charger thingy for it about three months ago, but I don't think that would be the problem. It just seems as if it is stuck in Hubirnation... HELP!

Try Power drain!

Unplug the power cord & all other external cables. Also take out the battery. Now press and hold down the power button for about 20-30 seconds. Now connect the charger and the adapter and check if its working.

If there is nothing on the screen and also if the there are some lights blinking on the keyboard then its means the system is "NO POST" issue. Note down which LED's are blinking & give it the tech support and they will be able to assist you.

i'm not sure if the 1505's had the nvidia 8400 or 8600 gt's available, but if you did get one you could be a victim of the major defect of the card. if you do have one contact dell and don't give up til they offer to replace the video card.
