My dentist has a terrible body odor?

Okay so i go to this dentist and he smells terrible. I swear he is pretty old (not a problem), but he is VERY hairy and his breath and body odor makes me want to gag.

He was doing my braces without a mask on and i could smell his breath the ENTIRE TIME. I had to breathe through my nose and his stench almost killed me.

Is this normal for a dentist to smell like he hasn't taken a shower in days? And aren't they suppose to wear those masks?

they are supposed to were mask i suggest you change dentists.

The personal protective gear (like a mask) is required for employees...but the Dentist is not required to wear it...Though, depending on the procedures it is necessary...sometimes when just doing an observation and not a procedure it is not necessary....Though in most offices you just get into the habit and wear one.  Many orthodontists do not because they rarely do messy procedures......

About the smell....I would let the front office staff know, and maybe they would pass along the message...for sure!

Yeah many people can have certain body odors that they just can't help.  Just bring an air freshener.  Tell the dentist the truth.  I'm sure his feelings won't be hurt much.

ohh my lol that really sux my dentist just smells like coffe lol but i hate him well just tell your mom or one of the other people that work there maybe they can brake it to him =P
