My desktop got deleted!!! READ DESCRIPTION PLZ. I RELIE NEED UR HELP,MY PARENTS R GONNA BURRY ME ALIVE ?

plz help me,,,i opened my lap top like everyday but this time,,it didn't work and then the start toolbar got deleted and then all the icons on the desktop even everything it wass a BLANK,,,and i open the internet explorer because my msn messenger sign automaticlly so i clicked 2 c my e-mails 2 open the internet explorer and then i got into yahoo answer cuz i know u guys will help me ,,so what should i do,,I RELIE NEED HELP,,plz i beg u,,plz plz plz,,i want 2 get all that was in my desktop back and i want my start tool bar back and i relie don't know what 2 do,,plz help me

when u c the blank desktop, press ctrl+alt+delete (all the 3 keys together).. when u task manager windows opens up, goto file---> run and type explorer and hit enter. .. u shud be able to see the desktop now :))

P.S: if the 3 keys combination opens up windows security window, then choose the option task manager.. also sometimes it takes upto 1 min to open the task manager..so be patient.. and btw please take time to rate :)

that happens to my grandson all the time and all he says to do if that happens when im on the cpu is to manually turn it off and back on

Press control+alt+delete,and start Task Manager

After that comes up,in the top left corner there should be the word "File"

Click the word File,then click "New Task (Run)"

In that box,type "Explorer.exe" and press enter...

Problem should be solved.

You can't "delete" the desktop,no worries :)
