My desktop icons are highlighted pleas HELP.?

Ok all my desktop icons are highlighted blue and i do not like it help me why is it doing this and i did not do nothing to cause this i restarted my computer and my desk top icons are highlighted blue

pless help.

    1. Right click My Computer=>Properties=>ADVANCED tab=>Click SETTINGS under the PERFORMANCE category.

    2. Select CUSTOM

    3. TICK "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" from the list.

    4. Click OK

    —DONE
