My desktop is white and I cannot change it...virus?

I had a bunch of trojans and malware from clicking a site, but was able to remove them all (the Virus Alert from start menu one), but still my background is white and I cannot change it

how do i fix this?

What Anti-Virus Program Do you use?Use Kaspersky With The Latest Update.It Will Work For You.

Right click > Properties > desktop

there should be something saying "color" and then you choose the color you want your desktop to be.
