Question:

My desktop shows limited or no connectivity, and speed is 100mbps. When i plug my notebook it is fine?

The router is fine. I try to renew ip address and nothing. What could be the porblem? Could the Ethernet card be fried?

  1. go to run type ncpa.cpl and right click on urs connection and go to properties and uncheck the option below :notify me if have limited warrenty: and check the above option there and ur done

  2. The router has a code to it. if you are connected already and getting a good signal, then there usually there is a code you have to type in to get into the internet. Routers do that a lot.

    I had to crack codes on routers to figure this out. Also, sometimes the router has internal network problems, so try to get another router and configure it the same way you the 1st router to see if it works.

    Time for trial and error.
