My digital camera is taking pics lower quality?

well not just pictures but videos too, at first it was really high quality and then i don't know what happened, its all fuzzy. and i cleaned it and everything and it was still fuzzy, the quality's not horrible but pretty bad. it needs more charging but that's probably not the reason.

  1. First off, go to your menu.  Usually the first thing that pops up in the menu is what megapixel it's recording the pictures in.  Select that and make sure it's set to the highest megapixel.

    Then go down the menu more, and look at the video settings to see if it's been messed with too.

    If both are at the resolution you want it to be and it's still coming out fuzzy after re-charging it fully, your lens may be messed up (whether through error in the camera, or by being dropped) and it'd be cheaper to replace the camera than to fix it.


  2. thats the same thing that happened to mine. its because you may have taken it outside when it was really cold or humid and it fogged the lens inside the camera. there  isn't a way to get rid of it, it sort of goes away by itself.

  3. Change the settings on the camera.
