Question:

My digital scales read OUr2?

I have a set of digital scales I use for Ebay and I got them out to weigh something and when the screen lights up it reads OUr2. I took the batteries out for a couple hours thinking hopefully that would work but didn't. It has an On/Off, a Zero/Tare, and a Cal/Mode button. Is there maybe a button combination of the 3 to reset something inside? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

  1. i belive it is saying oooo you are too, but there is not enought room on the screen so it must abreaveate by saying OUr2

  2. What shutter speed and aperture did you set it to? Or was it in automatic mode? Do you use a tripo..... oh... wait... scale??? What scale???

You posted the question into cameras category.... Try eBay maybe, then you'll get some better suggestions...

A quick Google search though showed, that the error means scale needs to be re-calibrated. For that you need some precise weights, like 100 or 200 grams (different scales need different weights, don't know about yours, maybe even something else). By the way it's not OUr2, its OUT2 (can't display "T" correctly on that digital display).

Here's a link to one scale manual that explains the calibration procedure:

    Good luck!

  3. Maybe the batteries are to low...
