Question:

My digital tv converter box doesn't work?

I've followed the instructions from the manual, but all the channels on my tv is now blurry or I can't see it at all (on analog all my channels were clear). Moreover, I thought there should be channels as 7.1, 7.2, etc but there are only whole numbers.

I have an old goldstar tv, no Audio/Video jacks and no remote.

I have put the antenna cable into ther ANTENNA IN jack, I have connected thw RF coaxial cable, I have tried both Channel 3 and 4 video signals and I have plugged in the box into an outlet. What else can I attempt to try setting up my box?

  1. Tim, don't forget your only setting up to get Digital pictures and not HD.  You didn't get a HD convertor and you don't have a HD tv.

You will see only what you did before.  Only this will allow you to see it when the analog signals stop next year.  If you're getting poor reception you need to look at your antenna.  That is the sourse of your problems.  Yes, keep the tv on 3 or 4.
