My dinner plates are too big to fit my apartment cabinets. can't close door any suggestions?

These days there are many fashionable plate racks.  They don't look like old dish drying racks.  They, instead, look like a contemporary storage solution.  The plates stand vertically on the counter (or in the cabinet if there's room).  Go to Ikea or even Target.

Keep them in the dishwasher and wash your dishes in the sink.
