My dish DVR keeps messing up?

we have two tv's.

#1-living room. #2-mom's room.

if we are watching tv 1 and we set to

record something, it will record on tv 2

and vice versa. it rarely records on the

right tv. we don't want to have Dish come

out and look at it, because of the charges.

anyone know what to do?

You have to understand how the Dish DVR works. You can't really specify which Tuner to use. The only thing you can specify is the "preferred" tuner; which you can set-up from the preferences, setup menu.  (If that tuner is busy - say you watch TV - then it uses the 2d tuner). Since all shows  are stored in one DVR, you should not care which Tuner it uses. All shows are accessible to both TVs.

If you can afford about $5/month, you can ask Dish to install a separate box in the 2d TV.
