My disk wont download to my computer. (music video disk)

Question

i have a music video movie thing. its on a disk and i got it from a store, so its not burned or copied or anything.

but i put it in my mac, and it just opens up the DVD player.

i cant make the videos go onto itunes so i can put it on my ipod.

please help!
