My doc says I need to see a cardiologist. Can this be serious?

My heart rate was high each time I went to see my doc. I'm only 22yrs old. I'm a foster child, I don't know the history of my biological family.

No way to know for sure, but it might just be to check for an arrhythmia, or an irregular heartbeat.  Usually just a formality.

You can't know for sure either way, but if the doctor thinks you should its probably a good idea just in case!
