My doctor said i should undergo for ivf if i am trying to conceive. I have a question?

I had laparoscopic surgery yesterday and found out my both tube was closed and unable to fix fallopian tube. doctor came to see me after laparoscopic surgery and he told me i should undergo IVF and he will give me information about this. He cleaned up my uterus and scar tissue. I am only 20 years old and I am married. My husband is 44 years old. we are happily married but after i heard this news .. i was shocked. How many chances are there for me to success IVF?
