My doctor says I need 2 spacers. Will they hurt?

My Orthodontist told me I need 2 spacers on the top of my mouth. They said I don't need them but it will make the process easier. They told me one spacer will probably fall out the day they put it in because I have space already and the other one will most likely fall out in a day or two. They said that I have enough space in my teeth but spacers will make the braces procedure a little bit easier. Will the spacers still hurt, or will there be no pain because my teeth are already spaced and the teeth won't move from the spacers.

NO they wont hurt u at all.....dnt need 2 wry.....everythin will b jus fine..

I had spacers and they might be a bit painful when they put them in

I had no gaps between my back teeth at all and I had to have four spacers forced into the space that wasn't there.

It ached for a good 2 days but after that it was fine.

Since you have space there already, it shouldn't be too painful!
