I have been having really bad pain and have to sit down to get dressed it takes me around 5 minutes to get out of bed, i cant walk put and down stairs and lift anything, my dr said its when the bones in your pelvic area spread to far apart and cause bad pain which can make pregnant woman limited it crutches and wheelchairs if the pain gets to bad, but he told me that the only thing that will make me feel better is to deliver the baby. do you think i should tell him i want to be induced, this pain has been going on for about 2 weeks now and its so hard to do anything, He told me today that ill still be pregnant next week when i see him because the baby doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon which with my first i was induced at 41 weeks but i don't know if i can deal with this pain for 4 more weeks. What should i do?

  1. I would say complain and moan a lot..that is my plan anyway for my next appointment heh, make it where they don't want to deal with you being pregnant anymore!

I have the same thing going on and I am 37 weeks and 1 day along, I have had SPD for about a month now, I am on bed rest, and they put me in a wheelchair, I couldn't deal with the pain anymore so they gave me vicodin, and also a support belt. And it hardly took the edge off. I am so sorry you have to go through all of this pain, and I am sure you are sick of people saying "oh the baby will come soon enough" because it feels like forever...

I would suggest trying to naturally induce labor until you see your doctor again.

  2. i have spd and have been given crutches but i have a 2 year old so i can never use them. i am 37wks + and i asked my doc 2 induce me and they wouldnt, they said i could deal with the pain by takin paracetamol (like that even touches the pain) when i said this he told me 2 stop walking so much and have bed rest as im nearly there now, but thats easier said then done with a 2 year old and a six year old on the six weeks hols. if you do have any luck with your doc and you are induced let me know how you managed it. good luck!
