Hey.

Ok, so this has been going on for a little longer than a week...

My dog's lips near the back of her mouth have gotten really gunky lately and start to bleed a lot. They tend to drop down a bit more than usual...

What is wrong with my dog?

  1. I would suggest to get your dog seen by the vet.

  2. You need to take your dog to the vet! We cannot diagnose your dog over the Internet! Only a qualified vet can answer this question! Why have you not taken her already? She's already suffered long enough, don't you think?

Brodie said, to put salt water on it! Please don't do that! Putting salt into a wound, will make her hit the roof in pain!

  3. Take your dog to a vet. Sounds like an infection and it could be painful for your dog.

  4. I would clean it a few times a day and put polysporine or aloiveara on it.  He probably just bit it or got thorn in it or something. Ask your vet if problems persist for another week after washing it and stuff.

  5. Sounds like a potential infection if this has been going on this long AND the area is looking "gunky"... suggest a call to the vet as you may need some antibiotics.  Might have been chewing on something that cut the tissue and then got infected...

  6. You might want to clean it out with a bit of salt water to kill the germs. If it doesnt heal you might want to take it to the vet and get something that will clean it up before it gets infected.

  7. I woudn't worry about it just take a towel and apply a little pressure to stop the bleeding
