  1. YES.

I take it your dog isn't spayed, or had at least one season before being spayed. I'm afraid unspayed dogs are at high risk from mammary cancer, one of the reasons to spay is to prevent this condition.

Take her to the vets - would've thought this was obvious - since breast cancer will kill her. She will need to spayed if she isn't already.

  2. How can you tell if it hurts her I wonder? It could be just an infection or something. She needs to see the Vet again I think.

Thyroid does affect hormones. Perhaps she needs to stop the medication now. Her body could have righted itself and the medication could be stopped. Again only the Vet can decide this.

  3. Your best bet would be take your dog to the vet. Early detection is always a plus. Better to be safe then sorry.

  4. you should definintly take your dog to the vets, better to be safe than sorry.

    good luck xx

  5. It is likely cancer.  It could also be DCM.  Dilated cardiomyopathy is common in dobes and the heart and lungs are directly related.  A vet trip would be a good idea.  However, if it is cancer or DCM there is not a lot you can realistically do.
