  1. She will come into heat when her body is ready to come into heat.  Meeting a male will not pull her into heat faster.  Since she's already 7-8 months, she can start her heat cycle any time now.

Being around a female that is in heat may trigger her heat cycle to start.

  2. ....get your ***** fixed and don't worry about here going into heat OR trying to breed her.

ADD: Then get her fixed and don't worry about it. Why wait til later this year? If she hasn't had her first heat yet GOOD. There is no reason to wait for her first heat to get her fixed.

Being around males has nothing to do with her going into heat.

  3. Your dog is much too young to breed.  It'd be like an 11 year old getting pregnant.  She's still a puppy!

There are many things you need to do before breeding her, or you're breeding her "just because", which isn't fair to your female (who shouldn't be treated as a puppy vending machine), or to the rest of the poorly bred dogs alive today waiting in shelters for someone to take them home.

Conformation trial Ch titles, health checks and certifications, researched her pedigree and the pedigree of potential mates, talked to your breed mentor for hours and hours building your knowledge.

ADD:  Don't be angry.  I'm sure you know as much as we do how many dumb people there are out there breeding.  You can't blame us for trying to convince them all to stop.  So it's no offence to you, take it easy.

But no, there isn't a way to make your pup come into heat faster.  If you're asking BECAUSE you want to fix her after her heat, almost all vets will fix her right now, since she's over 6 months old.

  4. if you don't want her to have pups the best thing is to get her fixed i got my 2 yr old lab fixed and it so much better known that she cant have pups cause i didn't want her to have them plus she didn't have papers and i have 2 male dog

  5. Dear GOD... please please please please please read more on how to breed your dog before you do something SOOOOOOO stupid. 7-8 months old is too young to breed, and just putting a female and male dog together doesnt make a dog go into heat faster. The female and male should be 2 years old or older, of the right weight, one should not be larger than the other and quite simple there are enough CHIS in the world. Dogs dont have boyfriends and this is  not a BRATZ DOLLS play party. The dogs dont drink tea and give promise rings, This is a serious thing your doing. DONT DO this. IF you are a kid, please bop your mom or dad in the head for not knowing what to do for your dog.

WELL GOOD THING, but read your question again it looks very much like you want her to breed.

  6. For just a play date, to get your pup used to other dogs is fine, and no, it wont make her go into heat faster. Alot of Chi females wont go into heat until there a year old or even 2. Let them sniff each other while you are still holding her, and see if they are compatible, and would like to play, if not one or both will snarl. Just let them be in the same room, but just hold them away from each other, until both calm down, and accept the others being there. If they both continue to growl and snalr, you might want to look for a playmate of the same s*x. But generally as a rule, Chis seem to know there own breed, and are freindly. Chi's have an extremely hard time birthing pups, and will need non stop experienced veterinary care. Most all Chi births have to be done Cesarean, due to the large size of the pups heads. PLEASE do not attempt to breed a 7-8 month old, they are still babies themselves. Any experienced breeder of small breed dogs will NOT breed a female until shes at least 4 yrs old. You are asking for trouble that you wont be able to handle, and most likely will result in the death of your little girl, and her pups.
