My dog as reverted Back to messing?

I have a pug, collie mix dog, she's beautiful, exactly a year old, and sweet tempered. Before we moved from florida she was house broken, but after moving with the military north three months ago, she's reverted. The last two months she pees on the rug in my sons room, destroying it, their pillows, my living room if no ones around, or the family room in the basement. She digs up my backyard, and refuses to eat her food, because she expects my hubby(which he's bad for) to give her table food, So now she's getting super skinny and will wait until no ones around and jump up on table to eat cats food or dig in my trash and pull things out. She's now afraid of me, which sucks, cause I yell out of frustration though I know that's not going to get me anywhere. But the worst part is today for the first time ever she soiled on my white rug in my bedroom, the one area she's never messed in cause that's her sleeping area as well. I crate her, I put her outside (which she could be out there for hours and will still come in and mess) I'm at my wits end, I don't want to get rid of her but with the hectic schedule our family has I don't really have time to retrain her and she doesn't seem like she wants to be anyway. Any and all advise would be great!

  1. Well I am not sure of my answer now.  The move was probably too much stress.  Puppies are not usually fully potty trained until 1-year-old, and since they train at their own pace, you could be having drama there.  I would start the crate training over only until she can behave in this house.  Use natures miracle to clean up the pee smell.  I had to move my trash can, it is harder on me, but easier than cleaning up the mess.  I would use a command like "go out" for pee, and "go finish" for p**p, and whoever is watching her has to wait until she does it.  I am also wondering if there might be something medical going on, and you are overlooking it because of the move drama.  When my dogs change their behavior, I take them to the vets to find out what is going on that I am not aware of.  I hope you find out what is going on with her.

  2. Can you remember when she was a pup. When you first started the potty training process. Walk outside with her. Tell her to go and when she goes re-assure her she is doing good. The more reassurance she gets the better she will be. A change such as you did is hard on a pup. Yes, I said pup. She will be a pup and in the learning phase for the next year or so. Then she will start picking up on things a little faster. Just make her feel she is doing right outside instead of wrong inside.
