  1. That doesn't sound good. Why are you asking us?? Phone a vet immediately!

  2. haha rabie from a frog hahahah

  3. Doubt it's rabies.. I'm thinking just a reaction to the distaste the frog created in its mouth. If symptoms persist more than a few hours, definitely contact a local vet.

  4. Was it a poisonous frog? Can you look it up?

If your dog is still acting normal, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I am not a doctor though.

However, when they gave my cat a worm pill a few months ago, she got white foamy stuff coming from her mouth too. Turns out that the pill tastes absolutely disgusting so the only solution is to salivate A LOT to get the taste out.

    Hope this helps!

  5. Take it to the vet! Your dog could be seriously ill! the toad, or frog, might have been poisonous. You shouldn't be asking for help on the internet. Go to the vet as fast as you can. In the mean while keep and eye on your dog and have it rest, give him a lot of water and try to wipe all the white stuff out of his mouth.

  6. its normal there is a chemical on frogs that makes dogs mouths foam white. it happened to my cousins Chihuahua and that was a couple years ago he is totally fine it will stop ina few minutes

  7. see a doctor - err, vet

  8. frogs and toads secrete a poison through their skin for protection.  Call your vet,

  9. bring it to the vet fast and dont let your dog bite you it might be rabies!

  10. its probably a poisonous frog or toad.

  11. maybe its rabies?

  12. if a dog or cat tastes something yucky, they can show an excess of saliva to clean out their mouths.  BUT if it doesn't end, and doggie seems sick or has other symptoms, then he is having a reaction and needs to see a vet.

  13. Get to the vet now!! Your dog has been poisoned.Toads are poinsionias to dogs.If you can't do that RIGHT NOW call poision control maybe you can get some help that way but definetely get to a vet.

  14. The frog or toad peed in your dogs mouth.  Give him plenty of water and if still foaming at the mouth in an hour, take him to the vet.  Normally it doesn't take long for the poison to go away, an that is what it is a poison.  The frog peed so it could get away.   Its a safely defense.  If it doesn't stop with-in an hour the vet can give a shot to counteract it.  Good luck 2u.

  15. You dog might be foaming from the mouth due to some toxins on the toads skin.Wash off his mouth with warm water. And to be sure take it to the vet.

  16. rabies!!!!!! D:

  17. i would def get that checked out!!!

  18. If you are in an area that havs Bufo taods, you need to get him help immediately!  They can be deadly! They are not only in Florida, by the way - they seem to have spread to many other areas.

Many other toads emit a mild toxin that is just an irritant, but without knowing which is was, I would get him to the emergency vet right away, no matter what.
