My dog chewed up a dollar. What should I do now?

I don't think that beagle will ever be able to make up the value of that dollar.

You should still keep a close eye on him ( money is the dirtyest thing in the world) but nothing will probably happen (I live in canada so instantly i thought of a dog chewing and swallowing a coin xD)

Supervise where he goes for a p**p and get down and dirrrrty and search for that dollar.

The paper is inert.  If the dog ingested any of it, it won't cause any problems.

If you've got most of the pieces, take them to the bank and they'll exchange them for another dollar.

LOL- I'd be more concerned about what nasties were on the dollar bill that he chewed on than the value of the dollar itself. Instead of a piggy bank you now have a doggie bank. ;)

I heard once of a dog that ate a hundred dollar bill.  The owner actually monitored the p**p, picked out the pieces, and put it back together.

Hey, with the way the economy is today, every dollar is needed!!  :-)  Guess he's going to have to work to pay it off.  Teach him to fetch your shoes without eating *them*, too.  That'll be punishment.

Instead of a piggy bank, you have a doggy bank!  Just don't try to break him open with a hammer...and don't plug his hole with a rubber stopper...I don't think he'll take too kindly to that.

awww. well if he does it all the time, take a few toys away and see how he feels, if not give him a bad punishment. if he dosnt relle chew up a dollar than, lol just let it slide once if he continues to do it scold him!
