My dog cry, and start l*****g his butt and we see nothing what could it possible be ?

i am sorry that, i had to ask such a question. But my dog cring when l*****g his butt make me very sad. What do other think it is ?

Could be his anal glands. Take him to the vet and ask them to show you how to express them at home. It's a fairly easy procedure, although it very smelly and messy. The "juice" (for lack of a better word) is like an oil which is smells like the most rancid fish smell. My bulldog puppy constantly has problems with his. His do not empty like they should and need to be manually expressed.

Another possibility could be if your dog has a pocket under their tail. Tail pockets get junk in them and can get infected. Take a trip to the vet!

Sounds like his anal glands.

They may need expressing.

They have two anal glands, one either side of the a**s. If they have diarrhoea or their poo is a little runny, then there isn't enough pressure on the glands to release the marking fluid, it builds up and causes pain.

When my Lab starts nibbling and chewing at her bottom, l know it's time for a trip to the vets.

The vet inserts his finger up her bottom and squeezes the glands, which then release all the fishy smelling liquid. If they are infected then she needs antibiotics.

It only takes a few minutes to do. Some dogs are prone to it and need them doing regularly, like my Milly, while some dogs never need them doing.

He might need to have his anal gland expressed. Have this done by a vet or your groomer.

lots of things.  Fleas....Worms.....ate something that he cant pass.. anal gland its hard to say.

you could always take him to the vet. but it sounds like his anal glands are impacted. you can express them yourself but it really stinks and it a little messy. not to mention awkward if someone comes by and sees you squeezing a dog's a**s.
