My dog doesn't eat today?

Help my female 1 year old dog is not eating today It is a shih tzu. What should i do to make her eat??

Lack of appetite can indicate any of the following things: worms, parvo, pregnancy and poisoning. However, it can just as easily mean nothing. If this lack of appetite continues, you should consider if it could be any of the previous things. Also, consider taking her to the vet.

It's possible her food has gone bad. If she doesn't eat tomorrow I would try offering her some chicken or other meat.

dogs arent always hungry. This happens to my dog. If she just wont eat anythink try putting a scrambled egg or something like that or gravy on top of her food or just anything she like which isnt bad for her. It works a treat!

if she doesn't start eating in a couple of days take her to the vet.

Sometimes dogs just aren't hungry, just like people. Wait and see if she starts eating anything, and if she doesn't try mixing in a little extra something with her food, like a hot dog or some egg. If that doesn't do it you might want to have her checked out by a vet. It's probably nothing though. One of my dogs goes through periods where she hardly eats anything, usually in the summer she never seems hungry at all. Just make sure she eats at least a little something within the next few days and she's probably fine.
