My dog gets hyper when he sees me, how do i calm him down?

Ignore him when he is being hyper and go about your business.  As soon as he calms down, you can greet him.

dont make a big deal at the door, just walk in put your stuff down then greet him

well how old is your dog? Because when my dog was younger she was REALLY hyper. Younger dogs have more energy so its more likely for a dog to be hyper at ages 1-5 . My dog is older now and she is not as hyper but still a little bit hyper when she greets me but it has gotten better. Personally, i think its a good thing that dogs get hyper because it means he/she is really happy to see you. but as he/she gets older,it will get better.
