My dog got into a bag of dog kibble while we were not in the same room, and he ate way more then hes used too. his stomach was bloated and full for multiple hours when after we separated him from the food. Since then hes been pooping a lot , almost every hour, should we wait it out, or could there be something more wrong that only a vet could attend too?

Hes a 50 lb English bulldog, one years old.

  1. My dog did that last year but it wasnt dog food it was the trash can, and she ate everything that was in it, she acted weird that day and the whole next day she got sick about 6 times and laid around she was fun and felt better about 2 days after she ate all that food shes a 55 lb pitbull. I tihnk your dog will be just fine atleast it was dog food and nothing bad, just watch him cause he might have a accident in the house to good luck

  2. Some degree of stomach distention after a lot of food has been eaten isn't as much of a problem as drinking copious amounts of after that food has been eaten.

You really need to watch your dog closely here.  If you see any signs of discomfort (panting, stomach pains, pacing, glazed look in the eyes) then race to the vet immediately.  Don't pass go, RACE to the vet.

However, since your dog is in the pooping stages, it's more than likely that you're past the danger zone and most likely your dog will be just fine.  Lots of p**p, but he will probably be just fine.  I would definitely fast him for the next meal or two.

  3. what goes in has to come out.

  4. its ok your dogs just really bloted and its pooping is ok thats cleaning out his body as long ans theres no blood in his poo... if your worried take to vet to be on safe side but im sure is going to be ok he just ate way to much and is just blotted

  5. KRC, this is not normal for your dog to do so is it? It just happened recently?

Maybe you might want to try to use Healthy Dog Bowl-Dog Pause. Which is available in the market to stop him from eating so much.

This dog bowl-dog pause is quite effective for fast dog eater.
