My dog has a rash on her back and is losing hair on the rash areas, would anyone know what it is?

my dog Valentine is a cocker spaniel and is 2 years old. For the last 3 months she has had this rash on her back, we think its allergies to the dirt outside or something. well about a few days ago she started losng hair on the areas she has the rash, does anyone know what it is. is it serious?because we are running low on money so i need to find out if its serious so we can try getting her to a vet.

I have a puppy that we rescued and for the past 2 weeks that we had her she had a rash and then started losing hair, Im not to sure what it is but im gonna follow the advice by bathing her and giving her a lotion on her back to keep moistened and hopefully she gets better.
