My dog has a swollen neck and acts like his ears hurt,?

i have an appointment with the vet for tomorrow at 5 pm,the soonest they could see him,he is drooling real bad and just laying around,can i give him some IB pro-fen for pain and swelling until i can get him to the vet?,it is now after hours so i can't call them to ask..

NO!  Ibprofen can KILL a dog.  Baby asprin would be better (although, too much of that can kill it, too).  Does your Vet Office not have an ER?

No do not give meds. Call ER vet and take there. Drooling is strange sx and i would not mess around waiting for vet to see tomorrow. Better safe than sorry. If there is no place to take him keep him warm and quite and moniter him all the time. He may have ear problems, tooth problems or other hard to say. Is he eating and drinking? Did he get into something?
