My dog has dug several holes in the back yard. I want to fill it in with something that won't wash away.?

What is the best thing to buy. We are going to be selling soon so I want to get the yard looking decent.

Bermuda sod over sand.  Tamp it down and water it.

I agree with Buuba. If sand is not popular in your area, try a top soil and packing it down at the bottom of the hole and leave it loose on top, then add sod. Don't mow it too soon or you will kill it.

If that doesn't work, add some flowers or hide it with a flower pot while the house is being looked at.   =)

concrete won't wash away  :)... but realistically get some good fill dirt from a nursery and pack it in.  If you can put grass on top it will keep it from washing away.
