My dog has left a squirrel just about dead?

I really want to save it, but I'm not sure if it's safe? How can I tell whether or not it has rabies annd how can i nurse it back to heath?

if your not sure on anything you should really take it to a vet.

Eeesh....

I would probably bring it to the vets or something, but like it was mentioned before they might just put it to rest.

However If you could do surgery on it that would be amazing, but a tale tell sign if something has rabies is that it will act kind of crazy and it will have a little bit of white foam around it's mouth.

I hope that it will be okay though.

if it has cuts in the head then take it to the vet any where else put gauzez wrap to feed it take a scrambled 2 eggs 1 cup milk half a cup warm water three cubes of gerbil pellets three med. slices red apples blend it all together feed through eye droppers also to tell if it has rabies it will have foamy mouth

If you have a wildlife rehab center nearby you should take it there, pick it up with gloves on and carry it in a box or animal carrier. If you don't know of a wildlife rehab center, you can take it to a local vet.

your gonna hate this, but just kill it. Get a pellet gun and shoot it in the head. It'll be a quick and painless death(when compared to the pain the thing is already in)
