  1. Groomers don't have a license to medicate animals.  Take her to a groomer, and tell them what she does, they may or may not want to give it a shot, and they may or may not get the job done.  If they don't they will probably have you talk to your vet for a sedative, so that they can sedate her enough to get the job done.

  2. Don't cut your dogs hair because you may hurt your dog. Maybe she is biting you and barking because she does not like you doing that to her. Take your dog to the groomer, if your dog trys to bite them and bark they will just put a little muzzle like thing on your dog. They will not put her to sleep. Then the groomer can shave off all of the tangled hair and if your dog has long fur you should be brushing it at least every other day so it doesn't get knotted and you don't have to take your dog to the groomer.

  3. just take her to a groomer and let them take care of her. my dog used to be the same way about his nails but once he went to the groomer a few times he calmed down

  4. Take your dog to a reputable groomer or a vet office. If your dog is overly anxious or aggressive most groomers won't deal with them, but the vet can sedate them so they can do what needs to be done.

  5. if you've never cut her hair before take her to a groomer

it happened to my puppy your dog sounds exactly like mine the groomer did an excellent job

  6. a groomer will be able to help yes

you can more then likey watch how they do it

my tiny toy poodle is 12 yrs old and has become scared or hte clippers over the years

i think it is because she is blind

so i just use hair scissors and cute her by hand

    it takes so much longer

but it is less stressful on her

    and she holds still

  7. You need to get her to a groomer asap,as tangled hair is painful for the dog,and long nails can make it hard to walk and can grow into the dog's feet. Why have you never taken the dog before? Most people get their dogs trimmed every 6 weeks. Anyway,if the groomer cannot handle the dog, your vet can give you a mild tranquilizer to give to her before your appointment, but a lot of dogs will behave for the groomer, because they are in a strange place. So get an appointment and then get the dog done every 6 weeks, and keep it combed in between appointments.
