Question:

My dog has red bumps over his body?

he has this big one on his neck and one of his belly and one on his leg. and another growing on his arm.

back before the neck bump was small my vet said it was a wart cause hes pretty old. its not painful if i touch him on this bumps and it doesnt itch but could it be something bad?

  1. They're probably moles. At my mom's grooming shop we see lots of older dogs covered in moles. It doesn't usually hurt them. Kinda similar to liver spots on humans, I guess. If he's itching at them, though, maybe try using an oatmeal shampoo. Otherwise, they're most likely nothing to be really concerned about.


  2. Didn't mention your dogs age or breed. But as dogs grow older they do get lumps and bumps and some can be bad and others not. It is always advised to get them checked out regularly by a vet as even he would need to do a biopsy to find out exactly what it is. But many ppl do not like putting there very old dogs through surgery as it may be fatal and if your in that situation most vets advise just to let the dog live on without any treatments. You will have to talk it through with your vet and see what both you and him think. Sorry i couldn't be of much more help but lumps and bumps can not be diagnosed over the internet or even through a visual.
