My dog has stinky ears HELP!!?

my puppy is 3 months old adn idk how long ago this has bin going on 4

but his ears SMELL NASTY!! like feet x100 its gross just now he fell asleep in my arms it smells horrible any tips on how to get rid of the stench

He might have ear mites. Take him to a vet.

My dogs had the same problem..they had ear mites.

Take him to the vet so they can prescribe him some ear drops.  You're also going to have to clean his ear out so either use a q-tip very carefully, or a moist cotton ball.

if the inside of the ears look like coffee grounds than its ear mites you can get medicine at your local pet store or u can use hydrogen peroxide. what you do is poor like to lids full in there ears and let it bubble up than clean them out with a cue tip even with the medicine you need to clean them out. Your dog will be fine

You would be very wise to take your puppy into the Vet as soon as you can to be checked.

Puppies and dogs will usually show some sort of reaction to infections by shaking their head, scratching and/or rubbing their ears more than normal.  Also, if you look inside and his ears are full of brown **** and red.....more red on the inside, but also deep pink or read on the outer part of the underside flap from scratching.............she most likely has an infection.  She needs to be seen asap.  An ear infection can be very painful.

The smell is an ear infection and will need to go to a vet. It will not get any better until he gets antibiotics down him.

Don't let it continue to go own, my vet treated my dog for two years, her ears never cleared up and she became so aggressive she had to be put-down, the infection had eat into her brain!!

Step 1 take your puppy to the Vet.  He probably has an infection.

Step 2 Follow the Vet's instructions on cleaning of the ears. and giving your puppy his medication.                                                               Step 3 The smell should go away once the infection clears up.  You don't want to fool around with his ear's.  You want to get it treated as soon as possible.  You don't want your puppy to go deaf.  Good luck.

This puppy really needs to see a vet soon. There are several possibilities of what could be wrong, two of which are ear mites or yeast infection. Only your vet can tell you for sure. Your vet will take a swab of the inside of the ear, and check it out and let you know in a matter of minutes. There are ointments and/or drops that you can get to put in his ears that will really do the trick. Bottom line is, you can't be sure what is wrong until you get him checked. The smell will not go away until the source is treated, and just think how this could be making your sweet little puppy feel. Good luck!

He probably has a bacterial or yeast infection in his ears.You can be sure he is in pain from it,so take him to the vet.

His ears shouldn't smell. It could be a yeast infection. Take him to a vet and get those ears checked out.
