  1. Unfortunately, you're doing all that you can do. Your vet knows whats best for the dog, and if you're feeling like he/she isn't doing everything that could be done get a second opinion from another vet. Dogs can still have good lives if they go blind, just like people can. It's all in your attitude about it. If she's going blind and there's nothign you can do about it, the best thing you can do is be there for her and help her through her transition.

  2.   If you can, I'd go to a canine ophthalmologist.  They are experts in this field.  Good luck

  3. my dog had the same but she became totally blind when she was 7, idiots kept saying it was kinder to kill her, well they could p**s off !! she took to being blind easy and still walked with the pack and had a great life. she died last year of a brain tumour aged 19 she had 12 great years, don't listen to people who tell u to kill her.

  4. It sounds like you're doing everything to help her!

I think she's getting great care with you.

  5. -did you look on line?

-when you said she was under vets care, did you mean she is getting shots and they are doing the best they can?
