My dog is having puppies, my mum and i want one but my dad doesn't want two dogs?

my male dog bread with a female who is due to have her puppies in 2 weeks time, my mum and i really want one but my dad says that he dosn't wan't 2 dogs at the same time. i know that if we did get one he would be glad but how can i persuade him in time? please help time is running out?

i would get  your mother to divorce him tell her you have seen him with a nother women that should do the trick

well for one you need a female dog and it will be a nice companion for your old dog and it will help with his social skills  the more the dog plays with the new dog the less your dad has to take time out to actually play with him

2 dogs are company for each other while you are out, they play with each other so you need to give them less exercise,  the puppy will give the older dog a new lease of life and make him seem like a puppy again.  2 dogs are not much more work than 1 - you can take them both out at the same time and they will run around together.  A female would be better for you to have with your dog, but dont forget to watch for her season and have her spayed after the first one to avoid unwanted puppies.
