My dog is in heat and won't pee?

My dog has been in heat for about a week now and i took her out this morning to go potty and every time she would squat to pee she would jump up like something grabbed her butt or something. She wouldn't actually have time to go pee before she jumped up. Anyone know why she would do this?

She will be getting fixed after she gets through with being in heat.

Because shes on heat her private parts might be a little

sensative or sore so when she goes to pee it might touch

the grass/floor whatever, and it makes her jump.

Try to mow your grass shorter.  Probably the stimulation from the grass touching her either hurts or is irritating.
