My dog is jumping up on the counters?

i have a yellow lab and she loves food. last night i made some cookies and she jumped up on the counter and ate them. She's been doing this ever sense she was born. and i just can't get her to stop i really need help it getting so bad.

The big thing here to train is the commands OFF and LEAVE IT.

Maybe take her to an obedience school or if you don't want to spend money try making high sqeeky noises and saying no. I had the same problems and it helped with my dog.

You need to move food away from her reach.  That includes the counter tops and the garbage cans.  They are like treasures to her and she's not going to stop.  She's going to steal and eat something that will make her very sick.
