My dog is losing her fur! Help please?

Apparently, my cousin of 2 years old told me she fed our poodle with rice. And they say feeding rice to a dog will make them lose their fur. And now I know it's true! My dog usually doesn't shed, since she's a poodle she's not supposed to..

Is there a way to stop her fur from falling off? She's really on a healthy diet and she's pampered once or twice every week. Please help me.

I've never heard of rice causing a dog's fur to fall out.  Rice will not harm your poodle.  

You didn't say, did her fur just suddenly start falling out ??  how old is she ?? is it coming out in clumps or ??  

There are other foods that can cause the hair to fall out.  The weather too, or dry skin, maybe mites? an allergy ?? there are lots of things that can cause a dog's hair to fall out, but rice isn't one of them.

If she continues to lose her fur, it is a sign that something isn't right...  a checkup with the vet would be a good idea .

Its something else, rice will not do anything to an animals hair.  Rice is very healthy to feed to animals and it is often found in dog food.  I would have the animal checked out by a vet for possible disease such as mange or scabies.
