Well my stupid family members fed my dog turkey and spiced potatoes and he's had diarrhea for a week today and it shows no change in the state of his....stools? Is this normal, how long does it usually last? My dog is a toy poodle and is going to be 15 this week. Also, it's weird, his poo comes out runny and small patches and trails but it seems as though he is struggling to go.

  1. This is a fantastic question for your vet. You should take your dog to the VET right away and get her checked out

  2. Get your dog to the vet ASAP or he will be dead. A week going like this is awful for the dog and you however you will live but the dog might not. This is an ergent matter. Don't let your dog suffer because of your friends and their bad behavior. Also send them a copy of the bill so they know better next time they are tempted to feed something to someones pet. What on earth will they do to a baby? Maybe feed them hot peppers or onions or beer?

  3. Diarrhea is nothing to ignore in any dog, let alone one 15 years old and going on for a week. Get your little guy to your vet in the morning.

  4. I don't think it was the turkey that gave your dog diarrhea I think it was problebly the spices.  Cook some rice and some kind of broth together and feed it to your dog. Make sure it is not getting dehidrated you might even go get some pedialite the stuff the babies drink for diarrhea  and see if you dog will drink some of that.  If you dog starts just not getting up and not eatting I would take him to the vet. Good luck

  5. I am sure is stomach is just irritated. As long as he is eating I dont think he is terribly ill. Some dogs just have sensitive stomaches. Just make sure he only eats dog food from now on.
