My dog is sick from food poisoning?

my dog has been vomiting for 3 days now, i took her to the vet yesterday and he said she seems to have just ate something bad and she has like food posining, i was jst wondering if it would really last this long?

Your vet didn't give you any other information other than that? Make sure she stays hydrated even if you have to use a turkey baster or something similar to get her to drink it. Also white rice. Stove top kind follow directions add a little something like cottage cheese 1% low fat only to it so they eat the rice. Then don't feed anything else for 12to 24 hours. Rice will help the upset stomach. I would also call a different vet and get their opinion.Good Luck. Just don't let it eat anything other than the rice.
