My dog is sleeping...but....help plz?

my dog fell asleep,but his breathing is hard and his chest is poping up and down,and then it goes slow....then hard,....then slow...and so on,does anyone know what the problem could be? he's really cute cuz he stretches every now and then it's so cute!

How old if your dog? Dogs have a much faster heart beats than humans. If your dog is having difficulty breathing, try contacting the vet and explain to them the situation. They probably have the best guess. Hope this helps.

it is probably dreaming. My dogs do it all of the time. If it's paws are twitching, then you know it is dreaming (about running in a wide open field or something like that).

That's just the way puppies sleep. It is normal. His nervous system isn't developed yet, so it causes that funny breathing pattern, and he will twitch, and even sigh and whine..and huccup, too..He will also move his feet as if running..

Its all just normal.

Human babies do that too!

Is he dreaming?  That would be my guess..
