  1. Try counciling

  2. Scream, cry, anything that helps you release. Grieve for your lost friend and know that I have already said a prayer for you.

  3. Ah, thats harsh. Take some time to grieve I guess. Maybe listen to some music and if you need to cry, just cry. Know that you had a lot of good memories with it, and your dog had a happy life. Hope you get better.

If my dog passed away, I don't know what I'd do ><..

  4. Sorry about that, makes me think about my 6 cats and a poodle, its gonna hurt, I understand what your feeling, Many of us have lost our friends (pets) over the years.

Cry, talk about your friend, write a poem about them....TIME HEALS..

We're with ya, just hang in there....

A new friend, when I lost my best cat (ShoeString) he was all gray and super fine fuzzy fur, It HURT, then not long later a mommy cat came around, shes a great friend, well she was about to pop out 5 babies, and one of them is all gray    (a girl, shes "Shu Lien" after the actress), she sleeps with me every night, with the poodle, and I have great memories of ShoeString. wierd how things work out.

  5. Go to a swimming pool! Hold your breath underwater in a sitting position. Your mind will go blank trust me!

  6. I am so sorry.. I feel your pain.. I just said goodby tonight to my 10 yo  chihuahua before she went into emergency surgery after going into shock from internal bleeding.. the vet just called and told me massive liver cancer..and nothing they can do..and it would be better for her to stay asleep... crying is about all I can do right now... but I will get her ashes and spread them where she loved to play... I will see her in heaven someday - thanks for the poem posted earlier.. that means alot as does all the support from strangers here ... who share a common bond... maybe we are all closer than we think.. and we will be with our loved ones again someday.. I know it...

  7. I am so sorry for your loss.  Pets become family members to us. I had my dog cremated her urn sits next to a picture of her out on our front porch(she was allowed in the house but she preferred to stay on our enclosed porch).  It does get easier, if you have a photo you could put it in a frame and keep it in your dogs favorite spot for a while until you get to feeling better.  you may want to have a memorial type service tori spelling did that when her dog died.

  8. im sorry for your loss. maybe check out a local shelter. but that might be too soon. or you could scream or cryy.

im sorry for your loss! :[

  9. I am so sorry and I can not Imaginehow you are feeling. I say try to distract yourself, but I think once you are ready, get another dog, don't thing of it in the sense that you are replacing the dog, just think about the happy times you spent with your dog.

  10. dont worry just remember he is still there up in the sky talk to ur dog as if it was there (in ur heart ) hen ull get over it cry if u have to then build a bridge get over it !!!

  11. Its happened to me before. Cry and let your emotions out. Also chocolate will help. Try to distract yourself. Sorry

  12. Its not an easy thing to deal with. I had to put my friend down in January and I swear sometimes I can feel him panting right behind me as I type.

    For you from your dog,

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.

I could see that you were crying, you found it hard to sleep.

I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,

    "It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."

I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the coffee

You were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to me.

I was with you at my grave today, you tend it with such care.

I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.

I walked with you towards the house as you fumbled for your key.

I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said, "It's me."

You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair

I tried so hard to let you know that I was standing there.

It's possible for me to be so near you every day

To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."

You sat there very quietly, then smiled; I think you knew...

In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.

The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning

And say "good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."

And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,

I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.

I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.

Be patient, live your journey out... then come home to be with me.

  13. when my dog moses died we got another dog named tootsie and we felt alot better and our puppy even looks like our other dog moses

  14. i am so sorry. i can't even imagine the pain you must be feeling right now. definately let yourself mourn...cry, scream, punch something (ie pillow) and get it out. my dog is 6 and when i start to think about that inevitable day, i do not see how i'm going to be able to get through it. the only thing i can come up with, that may bring me some comfort when that time comes, is to adopt another shelter dog once i am able to get my emotions under control. i will know she had a happy life and her dying allows me to save the life of another homeless dog, so it is not in vain. i will still miss her til the day i die, but at least something positive can come from it. i hope this helps a little.

  15. I am so very sorry for your loss!  There are support groups for loss of a pet. I would check with your vet, emergeny vet or humane society shelter. Best of luck

  16. When i was three, my dog died. He was so good. So kind, and so defensive. I can't take it! and then, there was a new born and i named it Jakie again. Well, My other dog rosemarie died when i was in the 1st grade. and then i cried every night and mourn for her death. but the best solution have a new dog. If no money then ... be EMO!

  17. Im very very very very very very very sorry for your loss,

I hope that your poor doggie is okay in Heaven.

You dont have to get another dog if you arent ready.

Here is a poem and website for you to take a look at.

                          ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚˜Â¼Rainbow Bridge☼

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
