My dog just peed in the house! Tomato issue?

I have a pomeranian he is four years of age. He is potty trained very well, no mess ups as far as I know.

Anyway, a few hours ago he got into a tomato (very large one) and ate the whole thing! Did he just really need to pee because of the large amounts of water in the tomato or should I be concerned for him?

That is correct.  Tomatoes aren't toxic.  The only thing that may happen is he might vomit.  The acidity in the tomato might upset his stomach.

Doubt it has to do with the tomato itself...Pomps are pretty tempremental, did you scold him after he ate it?

Its just a guess but im thinking its more about him getting the last word than the actual tomato.

Maybe he just really needed to go. I don't think tomatoes are bad for dogs.

I had a pomeranian, great dogs.  He could hold it forever.  But there is going to be times when you just gotta go.  He's fine, don't worry.
