My dog just went into heat for the first time today...?

She's a teacup Yorkie and I'm having a very hard time looking for diapers. I've tried tissues on her but she just rips them off and plays with them. She's a very active dog who loves running around the house and I'd hate to keep her in her playpen the whole day... can anyone help me?

Get her done asap if you dont want her having a litter or put her in the tennis courts when there is on one about or keep her on a lead

Yup, get her spayed. The heat can't be fun for you and it can't be fun for her. Since she's a "teacup" she must be very tiny and not breeding quality. Keep her away from males and as soon as the heat ends, make sure to get her spayed.

your dog is a yorkie. There is no such thing as a teacup ANYTHING yorkies are to be between 4 and 7lbs if she is less than 4 then she is a badly bred one end of story.

Get a belly bad and some premie baby diapers or find doggy diapers in the x or xx small size. Make an appointment for her to be spayed after this heat and problem solved.

There isn't a great deal of blood loss, and she will keep herself clean, l never see any need to use any diapers, just clean up after her.

The heat will only last for 3 weeks and the blood loss slows down towards the end.

Umm no such thing as a "teacup" dog. And Why didn't you get her spayed in the first place? Any way I not here to yell at you though. The best thing you could do if you dont want her soiling our carpets is to use baby dipers on her. They would work wonders!

Hopefully you do not have carpet.  Put sheets over any upholstery and let her run around.  She is probably l*****g herself a lot so that will help to prevent stains.  Otherwise just keep her to the kitchen if you can.  Remember, this is going to last a while.    

Otherwise you should've known this was coming and gotten the poor thing fixed.  We already have a lot of dogs in shelters.  

Of course you could be a breeder so then it would make sense.

but if you plan on breeding her, then get some premie baby diapers.
