  1. Dogs will choose their masters and apparently it's you! I feel bad for it. Seems it's been moved around so much. Just give it time to earn trust and to relax. You might want to think about obedience training.

  2. my dog does that 2!! it means he really luvs u!! u should be proud that he picked u as his favorite!!!

  3. It's completely normal behavior. Both of my dogs do the same thing, and so did my dog before them. There are other people in the house, but I'm "their person," so they follow me. That's just part of having a dog.

  4. i have the same prob it is afraid u will leave it so do what i do walk out the door and leave for like one hour and when u go back give it a treat do this and u will show the Dog that u will come back and u wont hert it or leave it.tell me if that works.hope it dose.

  5. The dog is probably insecure. Trying taking it on more walks, like 45 mins to an hour this totally helps the dogs mental health.

  6. Four of my five dogs follows me all over the house & outside. The four are three Doberman Pinschers & a Siberian Husky.

I call myself the Pied Piper.   :)

They consider me the pack leader & that is why they do that.

They don't follow anyone else either.

  7. buy some jingle thingys and attach them to it's collar that way you can hear where it is wherever it is =)

here's a website where they sell some:

    http://www.bigpawdesigns.com/bpc778.html

or i'm pretty sure u can get them at any hobby store or walmart.

  8. The dog has formed a strong attachment to you, which you should feel proud of as this is usually a sign that they believe you are their leader. Beware of what you do and how you do it, go slow with her and never use her name to tell her off. Get proper help if you are unsure of how to cope and try to learn to slow down consider where the little guy might be!!

  9. If it was abused it probably has anxiety. If you shut it in a room by itself he'll whine see if he starts peeing if he does then he probably does have anxiety. Even if he doesn't pee he still might have anxiety. let him out in a few minutes. leave him all alone in the house for about five minutes. If you are trying to eat and hes lingering around you stand up walk at him and say back back back then don't look at him just sit back down. It is very important not to look at him or give him attention when going to sit back down. Eventually he will stop it may take about three weeks but eventually he wont feel the need to be with you ever second of the day. Still give him attention during this time and DON'T GIvE HIM TABLE SCRAPS no matter how tempting it seems it only encourages bad behavior following and its not good for him. my dog doesnt do that and she only listens to me thats not "normal" behavior. good luck!

  10. sounds like separation anxiety. i have two blue heelers, one of which i couldn't turn around or take a step backwards without stepping on him. what i did was train him to sit and to lie down, and to learn to stay, after that i have no problem with him always under my feet. if he gets too close i just tell him to sit, and to stay. when he sits i pet him and reward him briefly before going back to what i was doing. if he gets up and follows me still, i return him to the spot he was in and tell him to sit and stay again.
