My dog peed on my couch?

What can I clean it with? Its on the part that I cant just throw in the washing machine. Its a tanish colored couch with patterns and its old and beautiful. (my great grandmothers couch) Im not sure what fabric it is but how do I clean it? I dont want to ruin it.

Also my dog didnt pee on it to be bad. She was on the couch and got scared and peed herself.

Any household cleaner in a spray bottle will do just fine. Once its dry, though, spray it with some all fabric refresher.

If you want a natural treatment, I would try wetting it with vinegar and then blotting it.  Repeat this till the area doesn't smell like urine.  You'll probably have to do it a lot.

If you want to buy a product: "Nature's Miracle" is a good pet odour remover.  I don't know how it would react to the material, though.

you can easily take care of the stain but the more important thing to do is to make sure the dog doesn't do it again. it must be punished. i'd give you a hint of what to do but if i write what i did to that shar pei my response would get deleted and nobody wants that to happen.
