  1. I have a female dog that just wandered into our yard. We don't know how old she is, or what kind of dog she is. We have had her now for around two months. Everytime my husband comes home from work she pees. What she does is so strange, though. She wags her tail before he comes in the door. But, when he comes in and pets her, she squats and pees. He gets so angry with her about this which makes her even more nervous. If she hears him cough, sneeze, or even when she hears him walk to the bathroom she puts her head down and runs into my room, or another room. I hate that she is doing this. I tell my husband that she is nervous and scared, but he gets aggravated with me. I have heard about the "submissive urination", but my husband says that it is "a crock of hooey". He lets her out when he gets home, because he attributes it to her needing to go to the bathroom. She will use the bathroom outside. But, then she is scared to come back in the house, because she is scared of my husband. I hate that it is like this!
