My 15 month old German Shephard pooped in his kennel. He has never done that before nor has he done it in the house. His kennel is the right size for him and he takes up the whole thing. I've heard that if they do this you have a problem. What do i do?

  1. he obviously just HAD to go

  2. i agree with all these answers

  3. Sounds like he just had an accident. It happens. Do not be too hard on him. Maybe he did not feel well and he just could not hold it. If he has diarrhea you should take him to the vet.

  4. He probably couldn't hold it. Haven't you ever eaten something that led you to need to go right away?

  5. They don't like to p**p in there kennel but can't hold it sometimes. Its just an accident. Probably won't ever do it again as long as you keep making sure you feed the same times and he gets out regularly. Just clean it up and try to watch your schedule on letting him out. Don't punish him. Good luck

  6. Doesn't always mean theres something wrong. He most likely had to go and couldn't wait it happens to everyone including animals just take him out a little more often

  7. Maybe he just REALLY had to go. Try taking him outside every hour or something so it doesn't happen again. or if you leave him in there are night, take him out right before you go to bed, and take him how right as you wake up.

  8. Thinking he is already house trained he just had to GO!  Think about taking him out a little more frequently for awhile so be sure he is o.k.

And for what you should do...clean up the kennel   and take him for a long wonderful walk.  No worries.
